The principals share the belief that the design process brings together aesthetics, function and technology. The elemental point of departure is conceptual simplicity with a view towards “doing more with less” - resolving the greatest number of physical needs with a minimum of means. The final goal of each solution is to achieve the highest quality and performance in the most efficient, cost effective manner.Prior to the founding of Margulies Hoelzli Architecture, LLC, the principals, Daniel Margulies, AIA and Matthew Hoelzli, AIA together amassed more than 30 years of successful experience with the LZA Associates Division of Thornton-Tomasetti.
The development of architectural solutions in Engineering/Architectural and Design-Build market sectors carries with it the equal commitment towards quality and innovation in technical and engineering design.
Our practice draws upon that experience, by recognizing that in today’s market, the leadership of any building design team is shared by owners, architects, engineers, construction and project managers – with each individual having the potential for creative input.
