Huettl Landscape Architecture is a landscape design and construction firm located in Walnut Creek, California. HLA strives for innovation and sustainability in design, creating comfortable and compelling spaces that respond to the site, region and the needs of the client. HLA offers landscape architectural services for residential, commercial and institutional clients throughout the San Francisco Bay Area and Northern California.

Philosophy
We believe in approaching projects from a spatial perspective to create outdoor places that people feel drawn to. We often use 3D modeling techniques to fine-tune the designs towards spaces that are comfortable yet invigorating. We strive to balance form, function, budget, and sustainability in our approach. We do not seek nostalgia, nor do we place innovation and flash above appropriateness in design.
