Who we are
Catherine Macfee Interior Design practices high-end interior design and interior architecture focusing on the clients needs and engaging with the surrounding environment to cultivate a visually stimulating and comfortably elegant home.Gaining her reputation in resort locations, Catherine has captured the retreat lifestyle and re-defined how to live well in a rustic environment. With offices in the San Francisco Bay Area and Lake Tahoe, her design team is trained to adapt to change and have great flexibility as far as traveling to the site, designing and corresponding with the client remotely.

Philosophy
Catherine’s style has been described as eclectic, but difficult to categorize in her mind as she is inspired but cultures all over the world. She creates visually stimulating ‘feel good’ spaces that are designed to engage the eye and allow for continual discovery. Her rare and refined design eye cleverly brings objects and styles together to create spaces with a soulful relate ability while still being mindful of the big picture as well as the micro design details.In addition to a full service design firm Catherine also has a retail home and lifestyle store in Lake Tahoe, Rubicon Collection that carries high-end furniture and accessories as well as a furniture line C.M. Cartouche that will be launching in summer 2009.
